Most of us use ‘I’m waiting for God to reveal His calling on my life’ as a means of avoiding action. Did you hear God calling you to sit in front of the television yesterday? Or to go on your last vacation? Or exercise this morning? Probably not, but you still did it. The point isn’t that vacations or exercise are wrong, but that we are quick to rationalize our entertainment and priorities yet are slow to commit to serving God.

God Is Our Mighty Fortress
46 God is our mighty fortress,
always ready to help
in times of trouble.
2 And so, we won’t be afraid!
Let the earth tremble

True Worship
God wants His children to worship Him, not only during Church services or ministry gatherings.
He wants our worship to be our “way of life.” He expects us to see and acknowledge Him in our daily decisions, and commit our daily needs to Him- It’s like breathing with Him and thus living for Him. I believe that’s the essence of true worship, not just with our man-made way of worshiping Him, but doing what He commanded us to do. He sent His beloved Son to die for us in order to regain our relationship with Him. Yet, most Christians fail to demonstrate an appreciation for this in the way they live their lives.
